Pete and Psibindi met in 2014 to write a track (Mera Dil) for Pete's Unexpected Pleasures album and from the first session both were determined it would not be their last collaboration.
In 2017 they got together again to write 4 new tracks in time for a performance at Dharma Festival, Poland, which, along with a new remix of Mera Dil, became the Lilaya EP.
There is a range of moods here, from epic and atmospheric through smooth and chilled to a slightly mad bit of drum & bass at the end, with lyrics in Hindi and Urdu all sung by one of the most fabulous voices you will come across.
UK artist Rena, represents a fresh wave of emerging talent defining a new era of independent artists within the music industry.
Rena teamed up with top music producer Hannah V (Rihanna, Jessie J, Stormzy) to record her latest single 'Find Me', launched on Psy-Sisters Music - the global arts collective and music label. The single attracted much media interest with interviews on TV show London Live, Soho Radio, Wandsworth Radio and an exclusive interview with top British broadcaster Jasmine Dotiwala on BBC Radio London. ‘Find Me’ was also featured twice on BBC Introducing London.
The classically-trained Indian singer is now the front woman for emerging psychedelic funk band ‘Psychic Misfire’, who represent the cultural resonance of London. The band are trailblazing London’s live music scene with their inspirational songs and dynamic energy.
Rena is also known as international psychedelic trance DJ, Psibindi, renowned for playing at some of the largest events around Europe. Famed for her distinctive selection of powerful UK psychedelic trance, interwoven with her signature psy FX vocals.
Psibindi has created three successful EPs, Psychic Traveller, Binary Star and Elliptic with psy-trance maestros Aphid Moon and Mechanimal, all of which have been critically acclaimed across the psy-scene and are being played at some of the most vibrant dance floors across the world.
Rena has collaborated with top chill out producers Pete Ardron and Kaya Project on a number of ethnic tracks with her Hindi vocals.
From the studio to the stage: her stunning live act performance at Hungary’s Ozora Festival 2016 had a large crowd of dance-hungry people stomping to their heart’s content. She then kicked up a storm at Boomtown Fair's Tribe of Frog Stage twice in 2016 and 2018.
Her dedication, skill set and energy has caught the attention of many festivals and events leading to headlining tours across UK and Europe including: Poland, Lithuania, Finland, Italy, Holland, Spain, Ibiza, Mallorca, Germany, France, Malta and India.
Psibindi is also the founder of Psy-Sisters, a global arts platform for female artists and a network for creative collaboration. More than 800 female artists have emerged from around the world to showcase their respective talents on the Psy-Sisters network.

Involved with the world, psychedelic and other scenes for a good few decades he has released 11 solo albums, collaborative albums with Samantha Ray, Kwali Kumara & Houria Niati, 3 with his old band Glow and 3 with Orchid-Star.
He has produced albums for N’Faly Kouyaté, Nathassia (Devine) and others.
He has remixed for Afro Celt Sound System, Dorothee Munyaneza, Nathassia, Terra Nine, Squazoid, Petra Mor, Trancient Dreams and others.

He has conducted at the Royal Albert Hall and was awarded an Hon PhD from the UK School of Esoteric Crystal Sciences for his 1st album.
